I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know many of our owners over the years, and many of you already know my family and me. What I haven’t shared in detail are the work and life experiences that I believe make me a strong candidate for the Redevelopment Committee.
My post-secondary journey began in mechanical engineering, where I worked in the engineering division at Westinghouse. There, I was one of the key individuals responsible for the design and production of a custom bypass transfer switch for a major client. Although I enjoyed the engineering field, I made a bold decision to leave before completing my degree to pursue an opportunity in the emerging IT industry. I went on to build and operate a technology company for 25 years, growing it to 40 employees at its peak and overseeing every aspect of the business, including operations, purchasing, marketing, legal contracts, and financial management.
In more recent years, my focus has shifted to real estate and construction. I have successfully managed short-term rental properties in three countries, completed more than 30 renovations, and transitioned into real estate development, overseeing multiple construction projects. My hands-on experience includes seawall construction, concrete work, metal fabrication, waterproofing systems, smart home automation, and design and floor plan development.
Over the past year, I have been actively involved in advancing the Cayman Reef Resort Redevelopment Project, working closely with owners to help get us to where we are today. I believe my background in engineering, business leadership, construction, and real estate development uniquely positions me to contribute meaningfully as we move into the next phase. I would be honored to continue serving our owners and to help ensure this project is delivered with integrity, transparency, and long-term value for all CRR owners
